    Hyperion DeFi has posted US$31 million (AU$44.02 million) in second-quarter net income, more than three times its US$8.8 million (AU$12.50 million) result from the previous quarter. It was the company\u2019s second straight quarterly net income record.<\/p>\n

    The company\u2019s HYPE holdings were valued at US$132.6 million (AU$188.29 million) at quarter-end, compared with US$71 million (AU$100.82 million) in March. Its treasury contained 2.04 million HYPE tokens on 30 June, up from 1.94 million three months earlier. Treasury gains climbed to US$54.8 million (AU$77.82 million), versus US$21.5 million (AU$30.53 million) in the first quarter.<\/p>\n

    Treasury Tokens Find New Uses\u00a0<\/h2>\n

    Hyperion\u2019s stronger results stand apart from a digital asset treasury sector facing weaker conditions as falling crypto prices erode balance-sheet gains, with some companies slowing purchases or selling tokens. Hyperion is using its HYPE treasury in new arrangements supporting activity on Hyperliquid.<\/p>\n

    The company agreed to stake 500,000 HYPE with HIP-3 deployer Entropy and commit another 500,000 HYPE to Skew Technologies for planned HIP-4 outcome markets. Those commitments came after Hyperion ended agreements with Native Markets and Felix following the discontinuation of USDH, releasing 800,000 HYPE for other uses. Adjusted gross profit rose 20% to US$1.15 million (AU$1.63 million), while operating expenses excluding stock-based compensation fell 21% to US$2.3 million (AU$3.27 million).<\/p>\n
