IRGC-linked addresses accounted for more than 50% of total value received in Q4 2025.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full variant-no-border\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1293\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-132500 lazyload\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.cryptonews.com.au\/2026\/01\/16163534\/image-14.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.cryptonews.com.au\/2026\/01\/16163534\/image-14.png 1600w, https:\/\/cdn.cryptonews.com.au\/2026\/01\/16163534\/image-14-768x621.png 768w\" data-eio-rwidth=\"1600\" data-eio-rheight=\"1293\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1293\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.cryptonews.com.au\/2026\/01\/16163534\/image-14.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-132500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.cryptonews.com.au\/2026\/01\/16163534\/image-14.png 1600w, https:\/\/cdn.cryptonews.com.au\/2026\/01\/16163534\/image-14-768x621.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" data-eio=\"l\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Source: Chainalysis<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Moreover, the report estimated IRGC-associated wallets received more than US$2 billion (AU$2.9 billion) in 2024 and more than US$3 billion (AU$4.3 billion) in 2025, based on a set of addresses identified through sanctions designations by the US Treasury\u2019s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Israel\u2019s National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing (NBCTF).<\/p>\n<p>The same dataset showed spikes in Iranian crypto activity around major security and geopolitical events, including the Kerman bombings in January 2024, Iran\u2019s missile strikes on Israel in October 2024, and a 12-day war in June 2025.
