Lindman will serve as the chief counsel for the agency\u2019s crypto task force, succeeding Michael Selig.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lindman spent over five years at Chainlink (LINK) in various senior legal roles. This shift occurred amid broader policy changes under the Trump administration. Under previous leadership, the agency focused on registration enforcement and the classification of most cryptocurrencies as securities.<\/p>\n<p>Since its creation, the task force has held roundtable discussions to address industry regulation.
