    American financier and crypto pundit Anthony Scaramucci said crypto has become \u201ctoo politicized\u201d for genuine progress on adopting digital assets, but still thinks Bitcoin could hit US$100k by the end of 2026 if the CLARITY Act passes.<\/p>\n

    When asked this week why the current \u2018pro-crypto\u2019 Trump administration isn\u2019t being reflected in crypto price action, Scaramucci blamed the President\u2019s shady crypto ventures and erratic behaviour.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    I do think that the President\u2019s grift on these memcoins slowed down the legislative and the regulatory process.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Scaramucci\u2019s comments came during a webinar interview with the founder of the Australian crypto investing education and consulting firm Digital Wealth Group, Sydel Sierra, held on March 4, 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    Scaramucci also cited Trump\u2019s threats to attack Greenland and go against America\u2019s NATO allies as a reason driving a growing political divide on crypto between the Republicans and the Democrats.<\/p>\n

    He said the President\u2019s personality, bullying tactics and grifts had triggered political opposition that was stalling legislation, including the crypto market structure bill, due to the Democrats wanting to \u201cuse whatever power they have to\u2026prevent him from getting a win.\u201d<\/p>\n

    \u201cSo, if the president says, I\u2019m pro-crypto, and you\u2019re in the Democratic opposition, guess what happens? You could have a reverse effect, where crypto becomes too politicized.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

    \u201cThe president\u2019s personality, and some of the things that he\u2019s done on the political scene have hurt the ability for the adoption,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

    It\u2019s not as though Scaramucci can\u2019t relate. This is the man who lasted just 11 days as President Trump\u2019s White House Communications Director during his first term, and ultimately revoked his support for Trump because the President had \u201clost his mind\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

    Despite no love being lost, he said he thought Trump was better for crypto than the alternative. \u201cI\u2019m not in love with Trump\u2026I do think that objectively, they\u2019re better than the Biden people or better than what the Kamala Harris people would have been for crypto.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Scaramucci said he wanted to see crypto go \u201cpost-partisan\u201d, where crypto was looked at as \u201can asset that should be part of our national balance sheet.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Scaramucci Remains Optimistic About CLARITY Act and Bitcoin Price<\/h2>\n

    Scaramucci said rising crypto market demand hinged largely on the passing of the CLARITY Act, which he said he\u2019s \u201coptimistic about\u201d. He cited crypto betting marketplace Kalshi\u2019s current odds of the bill passing before 2027 as being at around 70%.<\/p>\n

    He said that based on Bitcoin\u2019s four-year cycle, it should start moving upwards again from around October 2026.<\/p>\n

    I do believe that we\u2019re gonna be well through $100,000 by the end of the year.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    He discussed an alternative point of view that the CLARITY Act\u2019s passing triggers a \u201csuper-cycle\u201d and said \u201cfrankly, I hope that view is right.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Scaramucci said the crypto industry would eventually mature the same way the internet has and that Bitcoin would be a huge beneficiary of those developments. He urged BTC investors to take a long-term perspective.<\/p>\n
