Marking what would have been Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s 100th birthday on April 21, The Perth Mint is releasing several commemorative coins across gold and silver formats.<\/p>\n

2 oz Gold Proof High-Relief Coin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Struck from 99.99% pure gold, this high-relief coin features a reverse design by Natasha Muhl depicting five effigies of the Queen used on coins issued by The Perth Mint throughout her reign. The portraits appear against a backdrop of golden wattle alongside the Imperial State Crown, Orb, Tudor Rose, and Scepter.<\/p>\n

Reverse inscriptions read H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 100th ANNIVERSARY and 2026.<\/p>\n

The obverse features Dan Thorne\u2019s effigy of King Charles III with inscriptions CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 2 oz 9999 Au, and 200 DOLLARS.<\/p>\n
