DLRC is excited and honored to offer three premium PCGS registry sets in its Red Carpet Rarities Thursday night auction series. These three collections will each headline their own auction, garnering spirited bidding attention from series specialists and type collectors alike.

Chugum Indian Cent Collection Auction Highlights

The Chugum Flying Eagle and Indian Cent Collection features two All-Time Finest #1 Registry Sets of the aforementioned series, all running with no reserve. Both collections are 100% complete and are tied for first in their respective PCGS Everyman Mint State categories.

The group also features several additional varieties to further add to the allure of this fine group. Boasting 69 coins, including many old holders and CAC stickers, this collection features many quality collector coins that have been off the market for over 20 years and closes on Thursday, March 12th.

    Collection highlights include the following:

    • 1867/67 1C PCGS MS64RB
    • 1872 1C PCGS MS64RB
    • 1877 1C PCGS/CAC MS64RB
    • 1894/1894 1C PCGS MS64BN (Doubled Date, Eagle Eye Photo Seal)

Following closely behind is the Chugum Lincoln Cent Collection, similarly in the Everyman Mint State category, ranking #3 All-Time Finest. A near-comprehensive set — save for three coins — boasting dozens of affordable type coins, this 147-coin auction supplements the omissions with several very tough varieties and is notably elevated by several drop-dead key dates. Positively crackling with charm and broad appeal, this auction closes on Thursday, March 19th, with every lot running with no reserve.

Rounding out the group is the Chugum Collection of Classic Commemoratives — the #17 current finest PCGS registry set in the “Silver Commemoratives 144 Piece Mintmark & Variety Set, Circulation Strikes (1892-1954)” category. A preposterous group that was collected and then put away for years, this fresh set boasts plenty of old holders and several Gold CAC stickers! Sure to excite Commem collectors and the Gold CAC huntsmen and huntresses, this group is all running with no reserve! This Red Carpet Rarities Auction is live now, closing on Thursday, March 26th.

    About DLRC:

DLRC, formerly David Lawrence Rare Coins, was founded in a spare bedroom in 1979 by David Lawrence Feigenbaum. A passionate collector his entire life, Feigenbaum made the jump to dealing when his collecting desires surpassed his limited professor’s budget. After David passed away from a long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), his son John Feigenbaum took the reins and oversaw the company’s growth until 2015. That August, Feigenbaum became the Publisher of CDN Publishing and passed operations to John Brush. Mr. Brush, with prominent collector Dell Loy Hansen, purchased the company shortly thereafter and continued the legacy of the collector-friendly numismatic outlet.

DLRC has handled many legendary rarities of United States numismatics, including the finest certified 1796 No Pole Liberty Cap Half Cent, two examples of the 1894-S Barber Dime, a gem 1876-CC Twenty Cent Piece, the finest known 1901-S Barber Quarter, three of the twelve known 1870-S Seated Dollars, both examples of the famous 1854-S $5 Gold Half Eagle, the historic 1815 $5 Gold Half Eagle, one of the two known 1825/4 $5 Gold Half Eagle, and the Mickley-Hawn-Queller 1804 Proof Draped Bust Dollar.

To work with DLRC, or for any questions as to how they can help your collection, please call 800-776-0560 or email coins@davidlawrence.com.
