July will deliver another high-profile slate of 250th anniversary releases from the U.S. Mint, including Liberty Bell-shaped gold coins and a silver medal, the first enhanced uncirculated Silver Eagle since 2013, and the next entry in the new Best of the Mint series.

US Mint July 2026 Coin Products
July U.S. Mint releases include Liberty Bell-shaped gold coins and a silver medal, reverse proof Morgan and Peace dollars, an enhanced uncirculated Silver Eagle and a Minnesota American Innovation dollar

Collectors will also see the first individually sold reverse proof Morgan and Peace dollars, along with Minnesota American Innovation dollar rolls and bags. Most of the month’s products feature dual dates of 1776 ~ 2026, Liberty Bell “250” privy marks, or other Semiquincentennial designs.

July 9: 1776 ~ 2026 Reverse Proof Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars

Morgan and Peace silver dollars return in reverse proof finish, available for the first time as individual coins rather than in a two-coin set. The finish debuted for the series in 2023 and returned in paired sets in 2024 and 2025.

Struck at the Philadelphia Mint in .999 fine silver, the coins bear the “P” mint mark, dual date 1776 ~ 2026, and Liberty Bell “250” privy mark. Earlier reverse proof sets were produced at the San Francisco Mint with an “S” mint mark. Each 2026 coin will be priced at $173 and has a mintage limit of 250,000, with subscriptions now open for automatic fulfillment upon release.

This CoinNews photo shows 2025-S Reverse Proof Morgan and Peace silver dollars from a two-coin set. This year’s reverse proofs are sold individually, carry Semiquincentennial dual dates of 1776 ~ 2026 and a Liberty Bell “250” privy mark, and are struck at the Philadelphia Mint.

This year’s anniversary-themed coinage has attracted stronger demand than recent issues in the series. For perspective, sales totals for prior sets stand at:

    • 2025-S Morgan & Peace Silver Dollar Reverse Proof Set — 121,834
    • 2024-S Morgan & Peace Silver Dollar Reverse Proof Set — 160,527
    • 2023-S Morgan & Peace Silver Dollar Reverse Proof Set — 247,820

The 2024 and 2025 sets remain available from the Mint at $365 each.

July 10: Best of the Mint 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter Dollar Gold Coin and Silver Medal Set

This second release in the Best of the Mint series features a quarter-ounce 24-karat gold coin recreating Hermon A. MacNeil’s 1916 Standing Liberty quarter design, paired with a newly designed one-ounce silver medal. The gold coin carries a Liberty Bell “250” privy mark, while the companion medal presents a modern interpretation of Liberty passing olive branches to an eagle.

Limited to 30,000 sets and carrying a one-per-household order limit, the release will see robust demand owing to the popularity of its designs. Pricing has not yet been announced. It will be the second-most affordable of the five sets in the series, however, as later releases will include larger gold coins.

The inaugural Best of the Mint Mercury Dime Gold Coin and Silver Medal Set is limited to 30,000. Released June 4, it became unavailable after about five hours, with first-reported sales of 28,933.

After its sales total was adjusted lower by a combined 1,343 sets over the past three weeks, the set returned for sale at $765, down from its initial price of $810.

July 16: Freedom Ringing Liberty Bell-Shaped Gold Coins and Silver Medal

As previously reported, the new Freedom Ringing Liberty Bell series includes a one-ounce $250 gold coin, a half-ounce $125 gold coin, and a half-ounce silver medal. These proof issues are priced at $19,600, $10,050 and $750, respectively. Each is limited to 2,026 pieces with a one-per-household limit.

Shaped like the Liberty Bell, the gold pieces are described as the first non-round U.S. coins in recent history, while the silver issue is the first recent non-round medal. Their designs pair the bell and dual date 1776 ~ 2026 with Independence Hall and celebratory fireworks. All were hand-loaded and struck in the Philadelphia Mint’s Research and Development Lab.

July 21: 2026-W Enhanced Uncirculated American Silver Eagle

The 2026-W American Silver Eagle will feature an enhanced uncirculated finish, using contrasting polished and frosted surfaces to emphasize its designs. It will mark the first Silver Eagle with this finish since the 2013-W issue and only the second in the series. The one-ounce .999 fine silver coin also carries the dual date 1776 ~ 2026 and a Liberty Bell “250” privy mark.

Subscriptions are open at $169, with a mintage limit of 125,000. The companion 2026-W Enhanced Uncirculated American Gold Eagle launched earlier this year. Limited to 7,500 coins, it became unavailable in under two minutes, signaling strong collector interest in the finish and anniversary elements ahead of the silver release.

July 28: 2026 Minnesota American Innovation Dollar

The Minnesota American Innovation dollar will be available in 25-coin rolls and 100-coin bags from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Its reverse honors mobile refrigeration with a 1940s-era refrigerated truck design. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty and a privy mark of a stylized gear, representing industry and innovation, with a Liberty Bell and the inscription “250” added for America’s Semiquincentennial.
