- Fresh debt will support Ripple Prime’s US clearing, financing and brokerage activities as the unit continues scaling after the Hidden Road deal closed in 2025.
- An investment-grade rating accompanies the notes, although KBRA says the business is in an early growth phase as its earnings profile continues to develop well.
- Ripple’s May raise preceded the latest deal, while Ripple also gives institutions access to tools for managing RLUSD, its US dollar-pegged stablecoin, in July 2026.
Ripple has secured US$275 million (AU$387.75 million) from an upsized private placement of senior unsecured notes, adding fresh funding as it expands its financial services business in the US.
The capital was raised through Ripple Prime, Ripple’s non-bank prime brokerage, and will be directed towards working capital and general corporate purposes while the unit develops its US clearing, financing and prime brokerage operations.
The debt carries an 8.25% coupon and is due to mature in 2031, while KBRA has given the notes a BBB investment-grade rating. KBRA said Ripple Prime’s business remains in an early growth phase as its operations continue to scale despite the rating.

A Fresh Push for Ripple Prime
The fundraising represents another major capital injection for Ripple Prime following a US$200 million (AU$282 million) raise in May at a US$40 billion (AU$56.4 billion) valuation. Ripple Prime originated from Ripple’s US$1.25 billion (AU$1.76 billion) acquisition of Hidden Road in April 2025, which was followed by the prime brokerage being renamed under Ripple’s brand.
According to Ripple, revenue at the platform has increased roughly threefold year on year since the acquisition.
The company has meanwhile continued developing its digital-asset infrastructure, launching Ripple Mint in July to give institutional customers access to tools for accessing, minting, redeeming and managing RLUSD, its US dollar-pegged stablecoin.
The latest note offering therefore adds to Ripple’s efforts to broaden its activities across financial services while building infrastructure around its digital-asset operations.
