United States Mint collectors can order the 2026 Semiquincentennial Proof Set beginning today at noon ET, adding another major release tied to America’s 250th anniversary.

Limited to 480,000 sets, the 10-coin collection is struck at the San Francisco Mint and features one-year-only designs and Semiquincentennial elements throughout.
Exclusive Proofs
It is also the only 2026 Mint product offering proof versions of the standard-composition Emerging Liberty dime, five Semiquincentennial quarters and Enduring Liberty half dollar. Silver proof versions of those denominations were issued separately in 99.9% silver.
One-Year Designs, Dual Dates and Limited 2026 Cents
Nine of the 10 coins carry the dual date 1776 ~ 2026. The Emerging Liberty dime brings Liberty back to the denomination for the first time since 1945. For 2026, the Enduring Liberty half dollar replaces John F. Kennedy with the Statue of Liberty, making it the first year since 1963 that the regular U.S. half dollar does not feature Kennedy’s portrait. Five Semiquincentennial quarters honor the Mayflower Compact, Revolutionary War, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Gettysburg Address.
Also included are the dual-dated Jefferson nickel, Lincoln cent and Native American $1 coin. The cent is especially notable because regular circulating production has ended, leaving collectors with only a small number of 2026 Mint products containing the denomination. Those include this Proof Set and the previously released, now-unavailable Semiquincentennial 2026 Silver Proof Set and uncirculated 2026 Mint Set.
That limited availability has already translated into secondary-market premiums. In June, CoinNews reported on premiums for the Silver Proof Set and later on premiums for the uncirculated Mint Set, with their 1776 ~ 2026 Lincoln cents accounting for much of the markup.
