U.S. Mint Publishes Product Schedule for all of 2026

The United States Mint today released a preliminary product schedule for 2026, adding to its previously announced January lineup with specific launch dates in February and one in March, while the remaining products are listed by season. Many of the year’s offerings are notable for one-year-only designs, dual dates, and privy-mark additions tied to the nation’s semiquincentennial.

In all, 60 products are listed so far, and the information remains preliminary. Most items outside of January and February lack product images, and all are missing specific details such as descriptions, specifications, and mintages.

Prices are more commonly provided, at least for coinage sold in rolls and bags, including the unique semiquincentennial 2026 quarters and half dollar, the 2026 Native American dollar, and the four 2026 Innovation dollars recognizing key contributions from Iowa, Wisconsin, California, and Minnesota. Imagery is available for these products, all of which had been released previously.

No roll or bag options are listed for the dual-dated semiquincentennial cent and nickel, nor for the completely redesigned semiquincentennial dime, though they are expected in the annual uncirculated, proof and silver sets.

Images are also available for the listed 250th anniversary celebratory “Best of the Mint” sets, which feature gold coins honoring Adolph A. Weinman’s Mercury dime, Hermon A. MacNeil’s Standing Liberty quarter, Weinman’s Walking Liberty half dollar, the 1804 dollar, and Saint-Gaudens’ 1907 Double Eagle — each paired with a silver medal that reinterprets its companion gold coin in modern form. Their releases are staggered throughout the year. Again, other details have not been published.

Elsewhere in the 2026 lineup is the Mint’s Comic Art & Medal Collection, featuring Supergirl, Robin, and Green Lantern. No images or specific details are available yet, aside from their general release windows of spring, summer, and fall. Designs for the superheroes had previously been recommended.

The promised clad set depicting the 2025 superheroes — Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman — is listed as “Coming Soon,” though its title on the Mint’s product schedule incorrectly identifies the set as containing half dollars.

Beyond themed programs, rather than traditional uncirculated American Eagle gold and silver coins, the Mint lists these issues as “Enhanced Uncirculated,” a change that also applies to a pair of Morgan and Peace silver dollars. In a similar vein, the reverse proof Morgan and Peace silver dollars are listed as separate products rather than appearing together in a set, as in past years. Later in the lineup, there is also a listing for a “Morgan and Peace Dollar 2026 Two-Coin Set,” with no finish stated, underscoring the preliminary nature of the schedule.
