Discount Hotel Rates Announced for 2026 GACC Show

Reduced room rates are available at five hotels near the Great American Coin & Collectibles Show, scheduled for Sept. 30 through Oct. 3, 2026, in Rosemont, Illinois.

The show will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, located at 5555 N. River Road in the Chicago suburb. Organizers are encouraging dealers, collectors and other visitors to reserve accommodations early while discounted rooms remain available.

“We have arranged for cost-saving room rates at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago, Crowne Plaza, Double Tree by Hilton, and Embassy Suites by Hilton. All are conveniently located either adjacent or within an easy walk to the convention center,” said Larry Shepherd, president of Shepherd Expos Management, which co-produces GACC with Amos Media, publisher of Coin World.

“For commuting dealers and guests, we also offer the very economically priced Hilton Spark, with parking, breakfast, and convention center shuttle service all included for free.”

Show Schedule and Semiquincentennial Exhibits

Dealer trading will begin Wednesday morning, Sept. 30, followed by dealer setup that afternoon. The show will open to the public Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 1–3.

“In honor of the United States semiquincentennial this year, we are planning to have special numismatic exhibits and an educational program to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence,” Shepherd said.

Heritage Auctions will serve as the show’s official auctioneer. Coin World, Legend Numismatics and West Coast Coins are co-sponsors.
